The honoring organization may have a new name, as Indiana INTERNnet has recently become Work and Learn Indiana, but the prestige carries on as nominations are now being sought for the 16th annual IMPACT Awards program. These awards celebrate internship excellence and the collaborations that make them happen.

Honors will be given to the Intern of the Year (college, high school and non-traditional), Career Development Professional of the Year (high school and college), Intern Supervisor of the Year and Employer of the Year (for-profit and nonprofit).

“Give kudos to an intern who helped fill your workforce gap and did an amazing job, or acknowledge a key collaborator in the internship process,” says Jason Bearce, vice president of workforce development and education for the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, which is home to Work and Learn Indiana.

“It will only take a short time to acknowledge someone’s dedication and you don’t need to be a Work and Learn Indiana user to submit a nomination.”

The nomination form is available online and there is no limit to the number an individual or organization may submit. The submission deadline is November 5.
