ALERT: New Work Restrictions for Youth Employees Poster Update

Effective January 1, 2025

Employers of minors who are 14 or 15 years of age are required by law to post the maximum number of hours minors may be permitted to work each day of the week and the hours beginning and ending each day. The information must be posted in a conspicuous place or in places where notices are customarily posted. Click to access the poster.

The Indiana Chamber posters were not updated with this change. We recommend printing a copy of the updated posting at the link above and posting it next to your current postings. There are anticipated changes related to EEOC and Minimum Wage in 2026; if these changes take place, the posters will be updated with both these changes as well as the updated Work Restrictions for Youth posting (as of August 10, 2026).
