Interns, Active Threats Part of Indiana Chamber’s November Conference Lineup

(INDIANAPOLIS) — The Indiana Chamber of Commerce’s business education lineup for November features a wide variety of topics including internship programs, safety in the workplace and influential leadership.

Hoosier employers interested in learning more about the benefits of internships have an opportunity on November 6 to attend the Indiana INTERNnet seminar, Intern Today, Employee Tomorrow: Hosting Interns and Starting an Internship Program. Interns not only benefit a company’s productivity, but they are potential future employees.

Active Threats in the Workplace, presented by Vantage Point Consulting, takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. November 13 at the Indiana Chamber Conference Center. The Advance Leadership Series continues November 21 with Work of Leaders, presented by FlashPoint Leadership Consulting. Attendees can learn to understand their own leadership tendencies and how to direct influence toward desired outcomes. Cost is $399 for Indiana Chamber members; list price is $499.

The month’s events also include the next installment of the Indiana Chamber’s HR webinar series on November 13 presented by HRD Advisory Group.
