We’re excited for our marquee environmental event next week that will feature Andrew Wheeler, administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

The 2019 Indiana Environmental Conference October 9 takes place at the Hyatt Regency Indianapolis. The event is hosted by the Indiana Chamber in partnership with the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM).

Wheeler’s keynote will open the conference, which focuses on keeping Hoosier companies in compliance so they avoid hefty regulatory fines.

Agenda topics include how to utilize findings from an environmental audit to minimize enforcement actions or lawsuits, as well as how to manage environmental risks and limit a company’s liability. There is also a session from IDEM on the agency’s proposed fee increase to streamline the permit process.

The full agenda is available at www.indianachamber.com/environment; I encourage you to check it out!

Companies can register to attend online or by calling (800) 824-6885.

Hope to see your company there!
