(INDIANAPOLIS) — The Indiana Chamber of Commerce’s 35th Annual Awards Dinner on November 13 will feature a keynote speech by Chuck Todd, NBC chief political analyst and former moderator of “Meet the Press.” Todd will headline an event that will bring together the state’s top CEOs, business leaders and public officials to highlight the best of Indiana business, government and community.

Todd is a six-time Emmy® Award-winner and served as the moderator of “Meet the Press” from 2014 to 2023. The program is the flagship Sunday morning public affairs program and the longest-running broadcast in television history. His presence will be quite timely as he’ll be speaking just one week after the 2024 election.

The Annual Awards Dinner, presented by Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield, will take place at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. The ceremony will feature the following statewide honors, which include a new award for 2024:

  • Ogletree Deakins Business Leader of the Year
  • Birch Bayh-Richard Lugar Government Leader of the Year
  • NextEra Energy Resources Community of the Year (named as Madison on September 17)
  • Yamaha Dynamic Leader of the Year
  • NEW: Young Professional of the Year

“We look forward to hearing from Chuck Todd following such a pivotal election,” says Indiana Chamber President and CEO Vanessa Green Sinders. “Audiences across the country have been watching him for years and it’s a privilege to bring him to Indiana to share stories and to speak about the current political climate with so many Hoosier leaders.

“We’re also very eager to unveil and celebrate our award winners, and it will be exciting to honor an up-and-coming Hoosier with the new Young Professional of the Year award,” she adds.
