We recently released a new report examining the economic impact of Indiana’s childcare challenges, titled: “Untapped Potential: How Childcare Impacts Indiana’s Workforce Productivity and the State’s Economy.” Developed in partnership with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation and Early Learning Indiana, the report is part of a broader ongoing study of over a dozen U.S. states that reveals the related costs and opportunities for states, employers and working parents.
This special webinar was held on October 24 features a briefing on the report’s key findings and implications for our members, local chambers and other childcare advocates, as well as questions from the audience.
Presenters included Indiana Chamber Vice President of Education and Workforce Development Jason Bearce, Aaron Merchen, senior director of policy and programs at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation and Maureen Weber, president/CEO of Early Learning Indiana.
