In 2023, the Indiana Chamber loudly championed pro-economy, pro-jobs legislation and staunchly opposed efforts to harm free enterprise. Translating that advocacy to dollars reveals it was the highest ever return for businesses on their Indiana Chamber membership investment. Hoosier businesses received savings of $4.1 billion, which equals $1,451 for every Indiana employee!
That was achieved by the Indiana Chamber supporting legislation to enhance the state’s business tax climate and economic development efforts, as well as opposing potential obstacles in the employer/employee relationship.
