The past 90-plus days with COVID-19 have been full of uncertainty and change. You can begin to allay anxiety as it applies to your workforce by joining the Chamber for a variety of educational training and seminar programs.

Often, in these times, that means bringing the training to you!

The Chamber’s HR Webinar Series, sponsored by ProCourse Fiduciary Advisors, kicks off on June 30 with Hot Topics in COVID-19 Business Liability Exposure. Included in the discussion: ensuring employees are adequately trained on COVID-19 internal policies and reviewing insurance policies to guarantee adequate coverage.

New safety webinars follow in the next two months. They are: OSHA’s Respiratory Protection Regulation in Today’s World (July 21) and Safety EQ: The Superpower of Emotional Intelligence (August 4).

“Webinars have proven to be a popular, cost-effective way to access timely training,” remarks Kerri Begley, vice president of business education and events. “Along with COVID-19 and safety-related issues, these programs will span a wide variety of topics.”

Upcoming sessions include Mental Health in the Workplace (July 7); Not If but When: Anticipating Crises for Your Company (July 14); and Getting it Right: An Indiana Employers’ Guide to Workplace Investigations (July 28).

Be on the lookout for additional webinars this fall in areas such as tax, environmental, and safety and health. All webinars will be available on demand for those registrants unable to attend the live session or wanting to go back and review what they learned.

July also brings two in-depth human resources programs, preceded by a new leadership opportunity.
