(INDIANAPOLIS) — Worker’s compensation premiums can directly affect the bottom line of any business. The Indiana Chamber of Commerce is aiding Hoosier companies in keeping those rates low by hosting the Indiana Worker’s Compensation Conference on May 24.
The Indiana Worker’s Compensation Conference will offer strategies for companies learning to handle worker’s compensation claims. Conference topics will include worker’s compensation 101, controlling worker’s comp costs through injury prevention, state and federal changes, an overview of India Save na’s Worker’s Compensation Act, successful return-to-work strategies and more.
The seminar is ideal for human resources and personnel directors, worker’s compensation consultants, safety coordinators, risk managers, benefits administrators, safety and health professionals, health care providers, nurse case managers, claims handlers and anyone involved in controlling the costs of worker’s compensation.
The cost to attend is $499; $399 for Indiana Chamber members. The conference takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the JW Marriott in downtown Indianapolis. Lunch will be provided. Continuing education credit and group discounts are available.
