H.R. 3684, the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, is the largest long-term investment in U.S.  infrastructure and competitiveness in nearly a century, at least in its current form. This is a massive bill totaling 2,740 pages in its entirety. It passed out of the U.S. Senate on August 10 by a vote of 69 – 30. On August 23, the House adopted a procedure for consideration of the bipartisan Senate infrastructure bill, which provides a September 27 deadline for action in the House.

Here’s a helpful summary of the bill released by our friends at the U.S. Chamber: http://image.uschamber.com/lib/fe3911727164047d731673/m/14/811e11d9-6250-41b2-9086-167d94312559.pdf?utm_medium=Email&utm_source=SFMC&utm_campaign=&utm_content=.

This bill will provide a substantial amount of money to Indiana for long-term infrastructure projects.
