Fear of the unknown is one of the biggest anxiety triggers. With uncertainty continuing to surround many aspects of life amid the pandemic, focusing on mental health has become more important than ever.
In 2021, the Wellness Council of Indiana (WCI) is hosting training sessions centering around mental health and a variety of other topics. Among them is the 2021 Mental Health Summit (registration information coming soon to www.wellnessindiana.org) on September 15 at Ivy Tech Culinary and Conference Center. Following up on last year’s Indiana Opioid Summit, it will connect Hoosier employers with best practice guidance and evidence-based resources to help navigate mental health and substance use in the workplace.
The 2021 Indiana Wellness Summit, currently scheduled as a hybrid event (virtual and in-person) will take place on August 12-13 at the Westin Indianapolis. What better way to share challenges, successes and best practices than by connecting at the largest gathering of wellness professionals in the state?
