(INDIANAPOLIS) — Indiana Chamber President Kevin Brinegar comments on the state’s pre-K expansion, with 15 more counties announced today for On My Way Pre-K:
“Expanding the state’s pre-K program for children from low-income families was a top priority for the Indiana Chamber in the 2017 General Assembly. We were pleased to work with Governor Holcomb and legislative leaders on this important step.
“As a result, many more young students will receive the proper guidance at the start of their education path. That will be very much welcome from their families, and it’s simply a good long-term step toward resolving the skills gap in the workforce.”
