Annual Open-to-the-Public Event and Fundraiser Benefits Grateful Rescue & Sanctuary and Invited’s Employee Care Foundation

INDIANAPOLIS – Skyline Club Indy announced today it will continue its tradition and commitment of giving back and making an impact in the Indianapolis community. Plans are underway to host the 2023 Charity Classic, an annual philanthropic fundraising event taking place on November 18th at 6PM at Skyline Club Indy.

Since the program’s inception in 2007, Charity Classic events staged at properties owned and operated by Invited, the World Leader in Private Clubs®, have raised more than $33 million to support the vital work of local charity partners. In 2022, Charity Classic events were held across the nation and collectively raised $2 million for a variety of charities throughout the United States and for the Invited Employee Care Foundation (E.C.F.). In 2022, Invited employees received over $700,000 in grant assistance to help them and their families get through life’s challenges. Since its inception, the foundation has granted 4,100+ Invited employees over $9 million in financial assistance grants.

At Skyline Club Indy, last year’s Charity Classic raised approximately $28 thousand and brought together 130 area participants.

Highlights of this year’s event include a cocktail hour followed by a four-course dinner with silent and live auctions. Special guest appearances by Patty Spitler, Al Unser Jr. and his wife Norma as well as some furry friends!

“Opening our club to the community for this event makes a positive impact on the lives of so many. We are so proud to once again host our Charity Classic,” said Jeff Markowicz, general manager at Skyline Club Indy. “During our Charity Classic event, our members and employees work together with sponsors to show Skyline Club’s commitment to enriching lives in the communities we serve.”

Funds generated from the 2023 Charity Classic will be directed to two beneficiaries:

Grateful Rescue & Sanctuary, a nonprofit organization who embraces homeless animals and provides rehabilitation, adoption and foster programs to place animals in loving homes.

Invited’s Employee Care Foundation (E.C.F.), a fund created to help Invited’s employees and their families by providing financial assistance in times of crisis. In 2021, Invited employees received over $600,000 in grant assistance to help them and their families get through life’s challenges. Since inception, the foundation has granted nearly 4,100+ ClubCorp employees over $7.5 million in financial assistance grants.
