(INDIANAPOLIS) — Top policymakers and business leaders will convene March 16 at Indiana’s premier business event of the year – this time in a virtual format.

The Indiana Chamber’s Chamber Day Event, presented by Thompson Thrift, will feature a keynote speech by Myra Selby, the first African American to serve as an associate justice on the Indiana Supreme Court (1995-1999). In 1999, she was appointed by the Court to chair its Commission on Race and Gender Fairness.

“Indiana’s most influential leaders will come together to discuss topics vital to businesses,” says Indiana Chamber President and CEO Kevin Brinegar. “Myra Selby is an impressive person and will no doubt give a captivating account of her experiences.”

Selby is now a partner with the Ice Miller law firm. In addition to her broad-based practice serving institutional clients and individuals, as well as public service roles, she is a trained and experienced commercial mediator and arbitrator.

The Chamber Day Event is supported by platinum sponsor Caesars Entertainment; gold sponsors: Eli Lilly and Company, Indiana State University, NIPSCO and St. Vincent; silver sponsors: American Chemistry Council, AT&T Indiana, Charter Spectrum TV/Internet/Voice, Delta Dental of Indiana, First Merchants Bank, French Lick Resort, Hoosiers Work for Health, IGT Indiana, Keystone Group & Indy Eleven, Oak Street Funding, Old National Bank, Ruoff Mortgage, Smithville and The Kroger Co.
