(INDIANAPOLIS) — Roger Penske lives life in the fast lane. The entrepreneur isn’t afraid to take calculated risks on the track or with his many business endeavors. Now the Indiana Chamber of Commerce is inviting you along for the ride as Penske joins Gov. Eric Holcomb for a one-of-a-kind conversation on all things Indy 500, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and achieving business success at its 32nd Annual Awards Dinner.
Penske will share reflections about his successful career as a car owner, navigating highs and lows, purchasing the Motor Speedway in 2019, pandemic challenges and more.
The 32nd Annual Awards Dinner, presented by Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield, will take place November 9 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. The ceremony will feature the following statewide honors:
- NextEra Energy Resources Community of the Year (announced as Greater Lafayette on August 26)
- Dynamic Leader of the Year (announced as Megan Glover of 120Water in Zionsville on September 2)
- Birch Bayh-Richard Lugar Government Leader of the Year (announced as state Sen. Mark Messmer on September 9)
- Ogletree Deakins Business Leader of the Year (announced as Jeffrey Harrison of Citizens Energy Group in Indianapolis on September 16).
