MCCORDSVILLE – This year marks the 40th anniversary of Proportion-Air, Inc., a journey that began with the introduction of a groundbreaking technology to the market. Founded in 1985 by corporate president Daniel E. Cook, Proportion-Air, Inc. has become a leading manufacturer of electronic air pressure regulators and air flow control valves.
Starting in a garage in McCordsville, the company has grown to occupy a 4-acre production facility just two blocks away. Proportion-Air has consistently strived to bring all aspects of manufacturing and production in-house. Nearly all of our products, including manifolds, housings, valves, and board assemblies, are made from raw materials right here in Indiana.
Today, Proportion-Air’s products reach customers around the world, serving countless industries and markets. We are proud to call Indianapolis our home and remain committed to innovation, excellence and local manufacturing and employment.
