The IN Chamber podcast is back this week for season five. There are new voices and a streamlined focus on the issues that shape business success.
Longtime host, Tom Schuman, retired in July and rode off to the sunset of Arizona. The retooled format features co-hosts, with two members of the Chamber’s communications team behind the microphone per episode. The co-hosts are Chamber veterans Rebecca Patrick and Matt Ottinger, as well as newcomer Anthony Schoettle, who came to the organization in June from the Indianapolis Business Journal.
One thing that will be more evident, and intentional, this season is the link to the public policy initiatives and business matters that impact companies across the state.
First up will be a look at the current state of the pandemic with both the vaccination push and mental health impacts.
Jennifer Pferrer, executive director of the Wellness Council of Indiana, is the guest. She says “we are living through history” and cautions that “if employers think they are going to go back to what was ‘normal,’ they’re going to lose their employees.”
The new IN Chamber episode drops tomorrow morning at www.indianachamber.com/podcast.
