As you likely know by now, Fred Payne, the commissioner of the Indiana Department of Workforce Development (DWD), departed his post earlier this month to be the president and CEO of The United Way of Central Indiana.
The Indiana Chamber found him to be a good partner and we wish him all the best. The interim commissioner at DWD is Josh Richardson, who is the department’s executive director of applied data services and legislative services.
