Heroes come in many forms.
An online dictionary describes a hero as “a person who is admired … for courage, outstanding achievements or noble qualities.”
What a fitting way to describe HR Heroes – those who confronted uncertainty during the pandemic (and continue to do so), cultivate talent and make a difference in the HR profession as well as in their communities.
Nominate an inspiring person for the 2021 Ogletree Deakins Human Resources Professional of the Year Award. All full-time human resources practitioners in Indiana are eligible to apply.
The distinction recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to their company/organization over the past year through:
- implementation of best practices;
- organization design and effectiveness; and
- alignment and accomplishment of the strategic direction of their company.
Nominations are accepted by self-nomination, peer, subordinate, supervisor or other, but must be accompanied by a sponsorship letter from the nominee’s organization. Submit nominations online at www.indianachamber.com/hrpro. The application deadline is March 15!
Presentation of the award will take place at the Chamber’s 57th Annual Human Resources Conference & Expo – a hybrid event with virtual or in-person attendance in Indianapolis – on June 7-9. Register at www.indianahrconf.com. It also will include recognition of HR professionals who have earned the Chamber’s Human Resources Compliance Certificate.
Don’t let remarkable passion and accomplishments go unnoticed. Who is your HR Hero?
