One of the Indiana Chamber’s marquee events takes place next week. The 2020 Chamber Day Dinner is February 11 at the Indiana Roof Ballroom. Former White House Chief of Staff and retired U.S. Marine Corps. General John F. Kelly will serve as the keynote speaker. More than 700 business leaders and government officials are expected to attend.
The Chamber Day Dinner is considered the state’s premier legislative event of the year. It’s a great opportunity to network and discuss policy priorities key to a healthy economic climate, as well as hear from a national figure in General Kelly.
Kelly served within the Trump administration for 18 months as the chief of staff and previously as the Secretary of Homeland Security. Prior to his time at the White House, he was a career military officer who rose through the ranks. He ultimately served as the four-star general leading the United States Southern Command, the unified combatant command responsible for American military operations in Central America, South America and the Caribbean.
