Use What You’ve Got Prison Ministry
For 35 years, we have provided transportation for families and friends to visit their incarcerated loved ones in one of the 16 different Indian states, federal or juvenile correctional facilities.
We have provided a Christmas party for children whose parents are incarcerated. The state of Indiana has over 177,000 children with a loved one incarcerated.
The families are called the “hidden victims” because of the pain, stress, and health problems. We also have a three-day retreat for the women and men to get away from their environments.
My son was in prison and I learned that the state did not offer transportation for visitation.
