The University of Evansville is a private, liberal arts and sciences-based university affiliated with the United Methodist Church. UE empowers its student body of more than 2,000 students to think critically, act bravely, serve responsibly and live meaningfully in a changing world. Students can choose from over 75 majors and eight graduate programs across three colleges.
UE has been designated as a Changemaker Campus by Ashoka U for its role as a leader in social innovation and changemaking in higher education. It is the first Changemaker Campus in Indiana and one of fewer than 50 in the world. UE’s study abroad program at Harlaxton College in Grantham, England is ranked the number one study abroad program in the nation (BestCollegeReviews.org). Home of the Purple Aces, UE is part of the Missouri Valley Conference and competes in 17 sports at the D1 level.
