Saint Joseph’s College

At Marian University Saint Joseph’s College, we are reimagining how education and workforce development come together through our Earn & Learn model. Our approach connects classroom learning with real-world professional experience so students graduate with both a degree and meaningful work experience.

As director of workforce development, my role is to build and sustain partnerships with employers across Indianapolis who are committed to developing the next generation of talent. I work directly with companies to create employment opportunities for our students while also co-facilitating our career readiness courses, helping students develop the professional skills, mindset and workplace expectations needed to succeed.

One of the most powerful moments of our year is Talent Match Day. Recently, we celebrated an incredible milestone when 19 of our students were matched with employer partners and placed into professional job opportunities. For many of these students, this moment represents more than employment. It represents access to opportunity, confidence in their future and a clear pathway toward economic mobility.

Our employer partners span industries including finance, logistics, healthcare, early childhood education and nonprofit leadership. Through intentional partnerships, hands-on work experience and career readiness coaching, we are helping employers grow their workforce while empowering students to step into meaningful careers.

At Saint Joseph’s College, we are not just preparing students for jobs. We are building talent pipelines that strengthen our community and support the future of Indianapolis.
