(INDIANAPOLIS) — Acclaimed political strategists James Carville and Karl Rove built their careers by winning campaigns at the highest level. Carville is known for engineering the successful presidential bid of Bill Clinton; Rove is famous for “rallying the base” for two victories by George W. Bush.

On November 4, these heavyweights match wits on politics and policy – then and now – and preview the 2016 presidential race during the Indiana Chamber’s 26th Annual Awards Dinner at the Indiana Convention Center in downtown Indianapolis. More than 1,500 are expected to attend the event, which is presented in partnership with Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield.

“During these talks, I like to give people two things to laugh at and two things to think about,” shared Carville. “I look forward to it and I think it will be a great event, and there are really nice people in Indiana. It’s hard to find nicer people anywhere in the world.”

Rove joked, “Warn your attendees that I don’t have as much hair as I used to,” before saying about Carville: “I think he’s funny, smart as hell and has an intuitive sense of how people think. …I think the (Annual Awards Dinner) will be fabulous.”

A celebration of business and legislative success also will take center stage with the presentation of four key awards: Business Leader, Government Leader, Community of the Year and – new this year – Indiana Vision 2025 Dynamic Leader of the Year. Indiana Vision 2025 is the Indiana Chamber’s long-range economic development plan and the new award will emphasize entrepreneurship and others facets of the Dynamic and Creative Culture driver.

Seating is limited. Tables of 10 start at $1,350; individual tickets are $149 each. Tickets are available online (www.indianachamber.com/specialevents) or by calling (800) 824-6885.
