Actor, Host Terry Crews to Keynote

(INDIANAPOLIS) — A host of top safety experts are scheduled to offer trainings at the 2026 Indiana Safety and Health Conference & Expo, which runs February 23-25 in Indianapolis.

The three-day event, presented by the Central Indiana Chapter of ASSP and the Indiana Chamber of Commerce in partnership with INSafe and the Coalition for Construction Safety, is the largest gathering of its kind in the state and will help attendees discover new strategies for compliance to build a safer workplace.

Entertainer Terry Crews will serve as the opening session keynote speaker. Crews is an author, action-movie hero, sitcom star, children’s book illustrator, talent show host and mental health advocate. He is the host of NBC’s top-rated summer show “America’s Got Talent,” currently in its 20th season and will discuss “Mental Health in Safety.”

Tim Page-Bottorff, a leader in the safety industry, will deliver the other keynote, presenting his session, “Stop, Collaborate and Listen: Improving Safety Outcomes With Teamwork.”

“Hundreds of safety professionals in the state choose to attend this conference each year,” says Jennifer George, vice president of business education and events. “We’re certain the multitude of trainings and connections made will have an ongoing impact on their careers, and having a high-profile speaker like Terry Crews will help make the 2026 event even more exciting.”

The conference, which is sponsored by Indiana Safety and Supply Co., will include sessions on a number of relevant issues, including leading in high-risk environments, eliminating unsafe conditions, automatic sprinkler systems, emotional intelligence, ladder safety, culture building, rescue plans and much more.

The conference will include over 100 leading companies showcasing cutting-edge products, equipment, technologies, innovations and new solutions, interactive displays, chair massages and exclusive expo hall time.

The 2026 Governor’s Workplace Safety Awards, sponsored by Roche Diagnostics Corporation, will also be presented on day three of the conference during the lunch hour.
