(INDIANAPOLIS) — The Indiana Chamber of Commerce today urged the nine members of the state’s U.S. House delegation to vote in favor of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA). Additional compromises on the measure (first approved in November 2018) were announced last week, with the House expected to vote before the holidays.

“Congress can provide long-awaited certainty for Indiana (and U.S.) companies and their workers with passage of USMCA,” Indiana Chamber President and CEO Kevin Brinegar says. “Is the revised agreement perfect? No. But it protects our longstanding relationships with our two leading trading partners and provides a vital boost to manufacturers, farmers and small business exporters.”
