The Indiana Chamber today marks a century of working to better the state’s business climate through legislative advocacy, business education and various affiliates and programs. To recognize the occasion, we are pleased to announce our celebration plans and formally unveil a commemorative logo for the year.
The Indiana Chamber’s 33rd Annual Awards dinner on November 16 will be an optional black-tie gala that tells our story, which is also your story. You can expect special guests and famous faces to make an appearance. Look for more details in the coming months. The November issue of our BizVoice magazine also will take a trip down memory lane – and look ahead for the Chamber.
We have been the voice of Indiana business for 100 years, working to cultivate a world-class environment which provides economic opportunity and prosperity. Today, we partner with 25,000 members and investors – representing over four million Hoosiers. Since the beginning of our Indiana Vision 2025 economic development plan, the Indiana Chamber has accepted ownership and responsibility for Indiana’s economic future because we are in it for the long haul. We plan on being here for another 100 years and continuing to advance efforts on behalf of employers and the workforce.
It’s also a time to thank you for your ongoing support. We appreciate you and your business for being part of our story – whether that’s as members, as event attendees, users of one of our many programs or readers of our publications and news. We are excited to share this journey with you!
Kevin Brinegar is President and CEO of the Indiana Chamber and has been with the organization since 1992.
