(INDIANAPOLIS) — The Indiana Chamber of Commerce applauds Governor Mike Braun’s announcement today, revealing “IN AI,” a new statewide initiative focused on helping businesses grow, create jobs and increase wages through the practical application of human-centered artificial intelligence.

Braun explained the initiative will be executed by the CEOs of Indiana Corporate Partnership (CICP) and will work directly with employers across the state to accelerate AI adoption in ways that strengthen businesses and expand opportunity for Hoosiers.

Indiana Chamber President and CEO Vanessa Green Sinders remarks on what this forward-looking action means for Indiana’s business community – especially small businesses:

“For small businesses, in particular, AI can be a growth multiplier – helping them do more with less, reach new customers and compete with larger players. IN AI helps translate that promise into practical steps so that small businesses can become more competitive, more resilient and better positioned to grow in their local communities.”

She adds, “That kind of momentum strengthens Indiana’s overall competitiveness and supports the state’s ability to keep attracting investment, creating jobs and growing for the long term. We look forward to working with leaders to help more Hoosier small businesses take advantage of these tools and opportunities.”

The Indiana Chamber will be engaged with stakeholders and businesses as IN AI is rolled out in phases, beginning with employer engagement and initial projects, followed by expansion across industries and regions.
