Ice Miller LLP is proud to congratulate partner Philip Genetos on his induction into the Academy of Law Alumni Fellows at the Indiana University Maurer School of Law. The Academy of Law Alumni Fellows induction ceremony took place in Bloomington on Friday, April 12.

Phil was inducted alongside Zaldwaynaka L. “Z” Scott, president of Chicago State University; John L. Walda, retired president and CEO of the National Associate of College and University Business Officers; and Jose Cleofas Bocobo (posthumously), former justice of the Philippine Supreme Court.

Established in 1985, the Academy of Law Alumni Fellows recognizes alumni who have distinguished themselves in their careers through personal achievements and dedication to the highest standards of the profession. With professional roles ranging from U.S. senators to federal judges to managing partners of national law firms, Academy Fellows bring honor to the legal profession. Induction into the Academy is the highest honor the Maurer School of Law bestows upon its graduates.

“It is a pleasure to congratulate Phil on this great honor,” said Steve Humke, chief managing partner of Ice Miller. “Not only has Phil achieved professional excellence in his over 40 years with Ice Miller, but he has positively impacted the Central Indiana community with his service on boards like the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, Park Tudor and Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, among many others. I can think of no one more deserving.”
