Hazard Communication: Train the Trainer
December 8 - 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

In-Person and Virtual Options Available
Significant revisions made to OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard, effective November 2026 – make sure your company is in compliance!
In order to ensure chemical safety in the workplace, information about the identities and hazards of chemicals must be available and understandable to workers. OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard requires the development and dissemination of such information. Yet, HazCom (hazard communication) continues to be one of OSHA’s most frequently cited standards, ranking as the second-most common OSHA violation in recent years, with violations costing an estimated $ 50.00 million in 2025.
This course goes beyond the key requirements of 1910.1200.It provides key insights into the mistakes made by employers every day. It will cover the latest required elements of HazCom, while providing guidance and tips for avoiding compliance pitfalls. Key elements include: written programs, safety data sheets, chemical inventory requirements, labeling and one of the most often cited areas: incomplete employee information and training. Special focus is given to achieving increased employee understanding of technical safety data sheet terminology during training.
Attendees will also receive a hard copy of all materials presented and a Dropbox link with additional fillable forms for creating a customized safety program for your facility. Blueprints for establishing a complete written program and training models are included.
