Wouldn’t it be great to meet students from all over the state of Indiana who are actively searching for internships?

You could let them know about your company and the types of positions you’re hiring for in the short and long term, including valuable internship positions that can help your company fulfill its mission while keeping an eye out for up-and-coming talent.

You can do it all from the comfort of your office or computer with Indiana INTERNnet’s first online internship fair on March 28 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. EST.

Indiana INTERNnet, managed by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, is partnering with CareerEcho to put on the fair, providing both employers and students with convenience and the ability to have personalized one-on-one interactions in a quiet and comfortable setting.

Employers can participate for the entire five hours or indicate specific timeframes they’ll be available, and students can see the registered employers’ availability.

Each organization will receive its own exclusive chat room for real-time engagement as a group, or for personalized interactions. Students can enter those chat rooms if they’re interested in learning more about the internship opportunities offered. And organizations can post their available internships to Indianaintern.net prior to the online internship fair.

Worried about how to effectively communicate from your computer? Don’t fear! Employers can chat via text, audio or video and there is no required method of chatting, so you can use whatever you and your candidates feel most comfortable with.

Employers can also search, preselect and capture the resumes of registered candidates.

You can find a more in-depth look at the process here.

There are currently over 150 students registered to attend the career fair, but we need more employers to join in! As an additional employer perk, the online internship fair gives organizations the chance to register an unlimited number of recruiters for no additional fee – especially helpful if your company is hiring interns in multiple departments.

The fair is for Indiana-only internship positions, however. Out-of-state positions are not considered at this time.

The cost for employers is $495, and sponsorships are still available to increase your company’s visibility of its logo, chat room and profile page.
