Nine organizations from across the state have qualified for AchieveWELL certification from the Wellness Council of Indiana, a subsidiary of the Indiana Chamber of Commerce. One community qualified for the Indiana Healthy Community designation. The following companies and community will be honored at the 2021 Indiana Wellness Summit, August 12-13 at The Westin Indianapolis.

New AchieveWELL Three Star Recipients: 

  • Cameron Memorial Community Hospital, Angola
  • City of New Haven, New Haven
  • Reid Health, Richmond

New AchieveWELL Four Star Recipients:

  • Indiana University Foundation, Bloomington
  • School City of Mishawaka, Mishawaka

New AchieveWELL Five Star Recipients: 

  • Hylant, Fort Wayne
  • LHD Benefit Advisors, Indianapolis
  • Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center, Jasper
  • Saint Meinrad Archabbey, St. Meinrad

2020 Indiana Healthy Community Recipient:

  • Spencer County

AchieveWELL is the Wellness Council of Indiana’s workplace wellness assessment, evaluation and recognition program. The designation is open to organizations that work toward creating a corporate culture that encourages and supports employee health and well-being. The program provides an independent assessment of wellness processes and the designation is divided into three levels: Three Star, Four Star and Five Star. The standards are progressive through the Five Star Award.

The Indiana Healthy Community (IHC) initiative is an evidence-based collaboration process designed to help communities focus on implementing and sustaining a culture of health and well-being to spur economic vitality.
