Coolest Thing Made in Indiana

The new Coolest Thing Made in Indiana competition celebrates the state’s long manufacturing history. It’s for companies who make all kinds of things. Businesses that have been around for decades or budding entrepreneurs. Companies entered in the tournament face off in a single-elimination bracket format. Winners are chosen through public fan voting. Each winner goes to the next round until we reach the coveted final four teams and an ultimate Coolest Thing Made in Indiana champion.

  • The product must be manufactured in Indiana, but the company headquarters does not need to be in Indiana
  • The product must be made using a manufacturing process from any manufacturing sector
  • Companies can only have one product nominated
  • Voting is open to the public and each person must register with their email address and can cast one vote per day when voting is open. The number of votes received will be reset at the beginning of each round

  • Voting is open to the public. A voter may vote once per matchup per round
  • Nominated products will advance through multiple rounds of voting, with the products receiving the highest votes in each round moving to subsequent rounds
  • The number of votes received will be reset at the beginning of each round

Prizes will be award to the Coolest Thing Made in Indiana winner, runner-up and other finalists.

The company that manufactures the Coolest Thing Made in Indiana winning product will receive:

  • The Coolest Thing Made in Indiana trophy
  • A feature article (up to 1,500 words) about the company in the 2022 May Indiana Chamber BizVoice® magazine issue (more than 15,000 readers)
  • Coordinated media outreach promoting your win (press release, social media, blog)
  • The official “Coolest Thing Made in Indiana” winner badge to be placed on your product web site
  • Recognition and profile on The Coolest Thing Made in Indiana web site
  • An invitation to appear on the IN Chamber podcast or filmed video appearance for Chamber INsider e-newsletter (sent to 15,000)

The runner-up for the Coolest Thing Made in Indiana will receive:

  • The Coolest Thing Made in Indiana runner-up trophy
  • A 750 to 1,000-word profile about the company in the 2022 May Indiana Chamber BizVoice magazine issue (more than 15,000 readers)
  • Coordinated media outreach promoting your finish (press release, social media, blog)
  • The official “Coolest Thing Made in Indiana” finalist badge to be placed on your product web site
  • Recognition and profile on The Coolest Thing Made in Indiana web site

The other finalists of the Coolest Thing Made in Indiana competition will receive:

  • The Coolest Thing Made in Indiana finalist award
  • A 500-word profile about each company in the 2022 May Indiana Chamber BizVoice magazine issue (more than 15,000 readers)
  • Coordinated media outreach promoting your finish (press release, social media, blog)
  • The official “Coolest Thing Made in Indiana” finalist badge to be placed on your product web site
  • Recognition and profile on The Coolest Thing Made in Indiana web site
