VALPARAISO – Valparaiso University has been named to the Military Times’ 2024 Best for Vets: Colleges list. This recognition comes thanks to the support and services offered by the University for the support of our military veterans.

The Valpo Office of Veterans Programs and Services is dedicated to helping active duty, reserve, military personnel, veterans and dependents successfully graduate from college. Initiatives to help facilitate this goal include financial aid, additional faculty and staff resources, mental and physical health resources, and much more.

This year’s Military Times list was compiled through a combination of survey results and public data from the Department of Education and Department of Veterans Affairs. The full list of schools can be found at bestforvets.com.

The Military Times’ College list is an important resource helping veterans across the country make important decisions about using their educational benefits to ensure the best outcome for their futures.

Supporting those going into the armed forces is part of Valparaiso University’s dedication to service and leadership, two pillars of the five-year plan Uplift Valpo: Our Beacon for the Journey Forward.
