STAR Financial Bank announces the promotion of Brian Miller to chief financial officer. As CFO, Miller will oversee the Bank’s accounting, asset and liability management, treasury functions, capital planning, and the execution of STAR’s short and long-term strategic plan.

Miller has 12 years of experience in audit and systems administration and most recently held the position of Corporate Controller at STAR. During his seven-year tenure with STAR, he has worked in various IT roles including Technology Integration Manager and Information Security Officer. Prior to STAR, Miller held roles as a Senior Business Planning and Consolidation Analyst and as Senior Financial Auditor at Urban Outfitters in Philadelphia.
Miller holds a bachelor’s in management with concentrations in Accounting and Finance from Boston University, a master’s in accounting from the University of Notre Dame and is a CPA. Miller serves as a board member for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana. He lives in Fort Wayne with his wife and two children.
