STAR Bank is pleased to announce Brad Saleik as community relations manager.

In his role, Saleik will be focused on creating and maintaining strategic partnerships and alignments with north and central region nonprofits, as well as external communications and media relations. He brings over 20 years of experience to the position.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for me, and I am thrilled to be joining the STAR team,” said Saleik. “I have had the privilege of serving in the non-profit sector and truly making a difference in people’s lives daily over the past few years. I see this as an opportunity to continue that work, from a slightly different perspective, joining a talented team and an organization that has built a strong footprint and rich history in this area. I am blessed and excited to have this opportunity.”

Saleik has spent 25 years in the Fort Wayne area. He worked for 20 years in various roles at the News-Sentinel, leading the newsroom into its digital transition in 2017. He spent the last three years as the Director of Marketing for Blue Jacket, a local non-profit organization.

Saleik has served on the board for Leo-Grabill Little League Baseball since 2015 and is also the editor for The Fort Wayne Lutheran monthly newspaper.
