FORT WAYNE – STAR Bank would like to announce the promotion of Jim Cook to EVP, Commercial Banking. Cook currently serves as the president for the bank’s north region and works out of the Fort Wayne headquarters.
A well-established banking leader, Cook brings nearly 40 years of financial experience. Before he joined STAR in July 2022, he served as Market Executive/Executive Director at JPMorgan Chase. He has vast banking experience having led numerous commercial teams throughout the years at Chase and at Bank One.

Cook attended Indiana University, and he currently serves as an active board member of Greater Fort Wayne Inc., where he is chair of the economic development committee. He also serves as President of the Allen County Fort Wayne Improvement Board of Managers.
