FORT WAYNE – STAR Bank has hired Jeff Coil as Senior Investment Officer working out of STAR’s Fort Wayne headquarters.
In this role, he will provide STAR clients with effective and financially-sound investment strategies to help protect and grow their wealth. He will work closely with individuals, families, corporations and non-profits with the mission of helping each achieve their financial goals.
He previously worked as a Senior Institutional Advisor for PNC. Before that, he spent time at Legal & General Investment Management, AEGON/Transamerica and CNO Financial Group.
Coil earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Indiana University Fort Wayne. He also passed level 1 of the CFA, earned Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 licensing and is a fellow of the Life Office Management Institute (FLMI).
Coil invests back into the community he grew up in through his nonprofit work, including having served on the finance committees of the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne for four years and a Mother’s Hope for five years. He also served as a board member for the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne. He loves to give back to the community through volunteering as an instructor for Junior Achievement, Real Men Read and Meals on Wheels.
