The law firm of SmithAmundsen congratulates attorney Philip List on his election to the Indianapolis Public Library Foundation Board of Directors.
“The Library Foundation is fortunate to have Philip as a new board member. His expertise and passion for our mission will be a valuable asset,” said Florrie Binford Cooper, the Board Chair of the Indianapolis Public Library Foundation.
The Indianapolis Public Library plays a vital role in enriching Indianapolis – its people, its neighborhoods, its businesses. The Library Foundation – through its generous donors – provides support for approximately 80 percent of the Library’s program budget annually. Philip is looking forward to working with the Library Foundation Board to ensure that Marion County continues to benefit from the Library and all of its impactful programs.
“We’re very excited about Philip’s election to the Board of Directors,” said John Tanselle, partner at SmithAmundsen LLC and former board member of The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation. “Philip’s fresh perspective and commitment to helping others make him a great asset to the board.”
Philip is a seasoned attorney who provides guidance and representation to clients in the health care industry. He earned his J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law and his B.A. from Indiana University. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Indiana Society for Health Care Risk Management.
