Dr. Relihan is a researcher in the areas of real estate, urban economics, and household finance. Her interests include understanding how technological innovations reshape the distribution of economic activity across space and the implications for local economic performance and welfare. Relihan is an affiliate of the Daniels School’s Dean V. White Real Estate Finance Program.
She will discuss the impacts of innovation in mortgage contract design, the rise of online retail, and the adoption of work-from-home technology as well as the public policies that are likely to enhance the benefits of these innovations relative to their costs.
