Resources on Federal Policy Changes

The Indiana Chamber is compiling resources from the Tax Foundation, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Federal Reserve Economic Data, Society for Human Resource Management and its members/partners to help Hoosier businesses follow recent federal policy changes.

Amid an uncertain trade landscape, the Indiana Chamber recently launched a brief online survey for member companies throughout the state. A total of 200 business leaders participate – offering a clear picture on sentiment and the level of concern around the proposed tariffs.

The big picture takeaway is America’s trade imbalances are very real, but attempting to course correct all at once by imposing tariffs so broadly – especially against long-standing allies and trading partners – is cause for concern. That’s why it’s welcome President Trump did a 90-day pause on tariffs. See the survey results.
