OneAmerica® today announced the appointment of Brandi Davis-Handy to lead its internal communications, public relations and meeting planning functions of the Indianapolis-based financial services company. Davis-Handy brings 17 years of communications, marketing and stakeholder management experience to her role.
Prior to OneAmerica, Brandi most recently served as the U.S. communications leader for The AES Corporation, where she was responsible for the external and internal communications strategy. Previously, she led communications efforts at Indianapolis Power & Light Company, American Cancer Society and the 500 Festival. An Indianapolis native, she started her career in broadcast journalism after earning her undergraduate degree from Hampton University.

Highly engaged in the Indianapolis community, Davis-Handy serves on the boards of 500 Festival, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana, Dress for Success of Indianapolis and Lynx Capital Corporation. She was recognized as a Center for Leadership Development Minority Achiever in 2017 and as a Rising Star by the Indianapolis Star in 2012.
