Ten employees have been recognized by OneAmerica® as ASPIRE honorees as a result of their outstanding performance on behalf of the more than 140-year-old life insurance, retirement and employee benefits organization.
The ASPIRE principles—Achievement, Stewardship, Partnership, Integrity, Responsiveness and Excellence—guide more than 2,000 OneAmerica associates in all work endeavors. This year, 217 individuals were nominated by peers, supervisors, or project partners for the annual honor, started in 2014 to recognize and encourage excellence.
“Our ASPIRE honorees lead everyone in our organization by their examples,” said Scott Davison, chairman, president and CEO of OneAmerica. “We’re excited to recognize excellence in our associates as part of our commitment to our most important assets—the ones who go home at the end of each work day.”
Helen Maupin, senior consultant, producer compensation, was presented with the ASPIRE Distinguished Achievement honor. She was recognized for the valuable relationships she’s built throughout the company, her care and empathy for associates in the field, and her ability to do the right thing, even when it’s difficult.
The ASPIRE Excellence in Execution honorees are: Kathleen Gregory, commercial mortgage portfolio analyst; Jennifer Henson, supervisor, client management services, Retirement Services (RS); and Sasha Ingram, data/business intelligence consultant, Information Technology (IT).
The ASPIRE Excellence in Partnership honorees are: Ryan Kelly, case manager, Individual Life and Financial Services; Mary Peete, customer service representative, Employee Benefits; and Renee Stonemark, senior plan analyst, client management services, RS.
The ASPIRE Outstanding Team Impact honorees are: Charles Ibrahim, director of process excellence; and Sandy James, software quality analyst, IT.
The ASPIRE Outstanding Leadership honoree is Debbie Eversole, senior director, compliance.
The ASPIRE Awards program was created in 2014 as a way to spotlight OneAmerica associates who — day in and day out — serve customers and financial professionals.
