MainSource Bank (NASDAQ: MSFG); the Indianapolis North MainSource Bank location recently conducted a very successful donation drive for the Hamilton County Kids Coats organization. Donations included coats, boots, hats, scarves and gloves all to be donated to the local group.

The Hamilton County Kids Coats organization works year round to meet the winter wear needs of families in the county. Started in 2004 by three women from Carmel United Methodist Church (CUMC), all volunteers and coat donations came from the church members and the entire event was funded by the CUMC United Methodist Women and Good Samaritan Network, serving just over 400 people. Growing every year since inception, in 2016, they gave out new and gently used coats and winter wear to 1,801 children and their families. Now with 17 sponsor churches, the Merciful HELP Center and the continued support of the Good Samaritan Network, the group now holds Back-to-School events around the county as well. Making a positive difference in the lives of others, in 2018, they will give out winter coats and winter wear in Carmel, Fishers, Sheridan, Arcadia, Noblesville and Westfield.

MainSource remains a large supporter of charities in the local communities it serves through various offerings and employee volunteer efforts. Dedicated to serving the neighborhoods, MainSource Bank employee Jake Sikora (pictured) shows the donations they were able to provide.
