INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana Philanthropy Alliance welcomes Clare Sheehan as its new communications manager. In this role, Sheehan will continue to uphold IPA’s commitment to empowering philanthropy and strengthening communities across Indiana through impactful storytelling and strategic communication initiatives.

Prior to joining IPA, Clare served various marketing agencies, including DemandJump and Valve+Meter Performance Marketing, as a content marketing specialist, lead writer, and branding manager. She has also worked with several nonprofit organizations, including Women4Change, The Starfish Initiative and Women & High Tech.

“Clare’s expertise will be instrumental in IPA’s efforts to amplify the impact of philanthropy in Indiana,” shared IPA President and CEO Claudia Cummings.” We are excited to see her contributions elevate our sector as we gear up for IPA’s 2024 Philanthropy Leads Conference.”

Sheehan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from the Herron School of Art and Design, where she demonstrated her commitment to academic excellence as a dedicated student mentor and academic coordinator. Beyond her professional endeavors, Sheehan extends her passion for philanthropy by providing grant writing support to nonprofits in Nashville, TN.
