Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance has dispatched a team of appraisers, office claims representatives and field claims representatives to assist Texas Farm Bureau Insurance in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. The team of nine headed to Texas this past weekend and will remain there for two weeks to complete inspections and handle claims.

“We are happy to help one of our sister Farm Bureaus and its members begin their road to recovery,” said Darrin Walton, executive director of claims, Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance. “By providing claims professionals to Texas Farm Bureau Insurance, we hope to show Texans the same level of service Hoosiers have grown to expect.”

Texas Farm Bureau Insurance has mobile response units, food trailers providing free meals, as well as hundreds of employees and agents assisting those affected by the hurricane. Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance personnel are eager to join the effort.
