Ice Miller LLP is pleased to welcome attorney Lindsay Knowles to its Employee Benefits Group. She has deep experience with federal laws and regulations related to the administration of qualified retirement plans of public entities, employment issues surrounding public safety officers, and disability benefits from pension plans and the Social Security Administration.

“Lindsay is a highly knowledgeable attorney with considerable governmental plan experience,” said Steve Humke, chief managing partner of Ice Miller. “She will be of great value to our Employee Benefits Group and its clients.”

Prior to joining Ice Miller, Lindsay served as an attorney for the Indiana Public Retirement System. She was heavily involved in the implementation of new defined contribution plans and new pension processing software and the onboarding of a new record-keeper. Prior to employee benefits work, she practiced in elder law, guiding clients in estate planning, asset protection, and Medicaid qualification.

Lindsay graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law, receiving her juris doctorate, cum laude, in 2006. She received a Bachelor of Arts in sociology and political science from Indiana University Bloomington.
