The Center for Disease Control estimates that 22 million workers are exposed to potentially damaging noise at work each year. OSHA requires employers to implement a hearing conservation program when employee noise exposures equal or exceed 85 decibels as an 8-hour time-weighted average. This course covers the hazards of noise, noise measurement and exposure determination, requirements of the hearing conservation program, audiometric testing, hearing protective devices and OSHA’s hearing loss recordkeeping requirements.
Who Should Attend
This course is specifically designed for safety and health managers, coordinators, site engineers, HR managers and individuals responsible for executing the requirements of OSHA’s 1910.95 noise regulation standard. Those new to safety management roles or responsible for managing this topic will benefit from this course on this often-overlooked safety and health area.

If a weather/snow emergency is declared in Marion County, this seminar will be cancelled or postponed. You will receive a refund or your registration may be moved to a new date.
If traveling from outside of Marion County and you are unable to attend the seminar due to inclement weather in your area, please call us at (800) 824-6885. A credit certificate will be issued and can be used toward any future Indiana Chamber regulatory compliance conference for up to one year. This credit is fully transferable within your company.
