Program Information
As access to the COVID-19 vaccine increases, Indiana employers are pondering what they can do to support the effort to inoculate Hoosiers en masse, while avoiding legal risks associated with employer-sponsored vaccinations. This session will address several important issues employers must consider and plan for before rolling out a COVID-19 vaccination program:
- Mandatory vs. voluntary vaccination programs
- Permissible vaccination incentives
- Reasonable accommodations for employees based on medical or religious reasons
- Risks associated with employer-sponsored on-site vaccination events, and tips for minimizing such risks
- Employee privacy and confidentiality
- Workplace safety concerns
This session will address these issues and provide practical guidance for employers.
