This two-day event offers business leaders the opportunity to deliver their federal policy priorities and concerns directly to lawmakers.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky will be the featured speaker at the dinner on September 26. McConnell is expected to offer insights on policy, working with the Trump administration and the election outlook for the Senate.
Neil Bradley, executive vice president and chief policy officer at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, will then provide the overall state of play for the midterms.
Proceedings kick off with legislative briefings conducted by members of Indiana’s delegation. Confirmed presenters and topics are Congressman Jim Banks (IN-03) on immigration, Congresswoman Susan Brooks (IN-05) on health care, Congressman Pete Visclosky (IN-01) on the environment and Congresswoman Jackie Walorski (IN-02) on trade and tariffs. The U.S. Chamber will also offer analysis on infrastructure/transportation matters.
On the second day, Canada’s deputy ambassador to the United States, Kirsten Hillman, highlights the breakfast program, which will be held at the AT&T Forum.
The D.C. Fly-in also features dinner with Indiana’s congressional leaders and their staffs, a cocktail reception and visits to Indiana’s congressional offices for further discussion of top federal issues.
Cost is $199 per person, with group discounts available. Each attendee is responsible for securing travel arrangements.
